This portion of the Andes, is located in San Juan province. It is compounded by the Black Mountain (5900 m), the Mercedario (6770 m), the Polish Peak (6000 m), the Table (6220 m), the Black Soul (6120 m) and our first goal: the summit of The Ramada (6400 m). This six mountains embrace the Colorado river, wich defines his valley at a hight of 3600 m; place that we will use as base camp known as "Pirca Polacos". For acclimatization, we will be visiting the Italy Glacier, located in the upper Colorado valley. Besides that one, in our way up to the top we will have the chance to admire other majestic glaciers that come down as ice tonges from The Table. The Ramada is a mountain wich doesn't present thecnical difficulties, so our only enemies will be the Puna (altitude sickness), and the really low temperatures. An unforgettable adventure...
