This range belongs to the Andes, in the Salta province, in north-western Argentina. Its highest summit, the one we will be trying to reach, is the Libertador General San Martín. Using the south-eastern way, we will be passing through the Pailas Ruins, and then walking in the same valley untill we reach our attack camp at 5700 m. We'll be able to reach two previos summits: the San Miguel de Palermo (6050 m) and the Hoygaard (6100 m). Last but not least, our main goal: the Libertador General San Martín (6380 m). The "chinchillas" and the "guanacos" will join us on ur way up. This mountain doesn't present technical difficulties; althoug we will have to struggle most of the time with the Puna (altitude sickness) and the cold temperatures. SEE ALL THE DETAILS
